WMG is a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick, as well as being one of the largest academic departments at the University. We are currently looking for someone to support the delivery of a range of extra-curricular events and activities for our Taught Programmes.

The post holder will work on the co-ordination and delivery of a wide range of events of varying sizes, both in-person and online, including planning and communicating of such events, and associated budget monitoring. They will also be a first point of contact for student societies and groups, and liaise with other professionals across the University to share and learn best practice.

We are looking for someone who has experience of events management, ideally within a Higher Education setting. You must have excellent communication skills, pay great attention to detail and be able to work effectively with a wide range of audiences, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally to the University. You will need strong organisational skills to be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and will ideally have knowledge and skills in utilising multimedia in marketing and communication. You will also need to have a flexible approach to working hours, with a willingness to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
