At Warwick Business School, embedding employability into all aspects of the student experience is central to our strategy and global reputation. We are therefore seeking a proactive, highly organised and relationship‑driven Employer Engagement Officer to play a key role in delivering a coordinated, high‑impact employer engagement approach that connects our students with leading organisations worldwide.

Working closely with our Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers, you will support the delivery of a targeted employer engagement strategy aligned to WBS priorities. Through building and nurturing strong relationships with employers, alumni, recruiters and partners across sectors, you will help ensure that employability is meaningfully integrated within our programmes and that WBS remains a first‑choice destination for UK and international recruiters.

This role combines strategic support with hands‑on delivery. You will contribute to employer engagement planning, support communications and CRM systems, events and partnership activity, and act as a professional point of contact for employers and internal stakeholders. Your work will directly enhance the relevance, impact and reach of our engagement activity, ensuring students benefit from industry‑connected opportunities and that employer relationships are sustained, purposeful and aligned to institutional goals.

You will join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team where innovation in engagement practice is encouraged, cross‑school partnership working is essential, and employability is integrated not as an add‑on, but as a core pillar of the WBS experience. This role is hybrid, with a minimum number of office days expected to be between 2-3 per week (this includes a regular weekly team anchor day). Please note that due to the nature of the role, a degree of flexibility in both working hours and location is required, including occasional working at The Shard (London campus), and may include supporting evening or weekend activities within the UK.

About You: You’ll be joining a passionate team where employability is central to our strategy and where your work has clear, visible impact. This role offers the opportunity to build and support relationships with a diverse range of employers, alumni and partners, whilst developing your skills across events, communications and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive environment where initiative is encouraged and ideas are valued, with real scope to shape activity and see the outcomes. If you’re motivated by building strong connections and delivering high-quality experiences, this is a role where you can make a meaningful contribution.

About the Department: Warwick Business School (WBS) is a place where big ideas meet real impact. We’re part of a world‑class university, but we’re more than just our reputation. For nearly 60 years, we’ve been helping people turn ambition into action, equipping them to make a real difference in the world.

About Us: We were the first UK business school to achieve triple accreditation (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB), and our programmes consistently rank among the best. But what really sets us apart is how it feels to be here. We’re down to earth, collaborative, and proud to create a place where staff, students and alumni feel at home. We want your time here to be as inspiring as it is rewarding, with the support, trust, and opportunities you need to grow both professionally and personally.

Our Vision: The world needs smart ideas, and the leaders who can bring them to life. Those ideas only matter if they can be put into practice. Our vision is simple: to shape the people and ideas that will define what comes next and ensure they have everything they need to make it happen. Everything we do is underpinned by our CORE values and fuelled by a Change Maker mindset. We look for this shared commitment in everyone who joins our community. We nurture that mindset every day by creating a workplace where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are shared openly, and everyone has the chance to turn bold thinking into meaningful action.

Change Makers: See the bigger picture. They think beyond themselves, seek out different perspectives, and consider the ripple effect of their actions. Challenge the norm. They question the status quo and look for better ways to make a difference. Have the drive to deliver. They don’t just imagine change; they put in the work to make it happen.

Our CORE Values: Curiosity. We challenge, explore, and create to build a better future. Openness. We welcome ideas, feedback, and change to keep moving forward. Restlessness. We’re never content to stand still; we keep striving for more. Excellence. We hold ourselves to the highest standards in everything we do.

About the University: We are a world‑leading research‑intensive university founded in 1965. We are ranked 74th in the world and 9th in the UK. Additionally, 92% of our research is rated world‑leading or internationally excellent.

Closing Deadline: Monday 10th August 2026 at 11:55pm (UK Time)

We provide a comprehensive range of benefits, including:
