About The Role
Applications are invited for a 2‑year fixed‑term Teaching Fellow in Politics and Public Policy in the Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) at the University of Warwick, to start on 1 September 2026. The appointment will be made at FA6 of the University of Warwick salary scale.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality research‑led teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in politics and international studies.
- Act as Module Director and teach on relevant undergraduate and postgraduate level modules, including but not limited to Introduction to Politics, Political Research in the 21st Century, and specialised modules relating to Public Policy, UK Politics or US Politics.
- Supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop and support your research profile within the framework of the role.
Qualifications
- Honours degree or equivalent, and a PhD or equivalent (awarded or near completion) in Politics and International Studies or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality research‑led teaching and a commitment to the use and development of innovative teaching methods and e‑learning techniques.
