Warwick Law School seeks to employ a full-time, two-year Teaching Fellow to deliver teaching in one or more of our undergraduate foundation modules: Criminal Law, Tort Law, Understanding Law in Context, Constitutional & Administrative Law related modules, Contract Law, Property Law, Foundations of European Law, Law of Trusts. Preference may be given to candidates with expertise in Property Law. Warwick Law School is renowned for its law‑in‑context approach, and we encourage candidates who have experience of using this methodology. The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming team of academics and professional service staff, which emphasizes support, development and collaboration. The selection of candidates will be based on experience and fit to the criteria detailed in the person specification. Terms and Conditions of Employment specify that staff must live within a reasonable travelling distance of their place of work in order to fulfil all the duties of the role.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to one or more of the School's foundation modules as listed above.
- Teach and research using a law‑and‑context approach.
- Participate across the Law School's core activities, including enhancing student experience, engagement, and performing administrative and pastoral duties.
