This is an exciting opportunity for an early‑career researcher with a background in social, behavioural or health sciences to work on a study assessing the feasibility and effectiveness of blood biomarker tests for diagnosing Alzheimer’s within the NHS. The role is based at Gibbet Hill (Warwick Medical School) on the University of Warwick campus and is not a remote position. Some travel to London will be required to attend key meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the multidisciplinary and cross‑institutional ADAPT team led by colleagues at UCL.
  • Conduct qualitative research including interviews and focus groups with trial participants and health‑care professionals.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to the experiences of those involved in the trial.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver research outputs and contribute to the study’s objectives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social, behavioural or health sciences.
  • Relevant training and experience in qualitative research, including conducting and analysing interviews and focus groups.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing research work.
