As Portfolio Office Manager you will lead the development and maturation of a growing Portfolio Office at a pivotal moment in the University’s digital transformation journey. You will shape the processes, governance, and culture that underpin the University’s most significant digital change initiatives, including design and embedding best‑practice PMO approaches, championing Agile delivery, and influencing senior decision‑makers. You will oversee resourcing, benefits, performance and strategic reporting across a large and diverse delivery function, creating a high‑performing team and driving lasting impact on teaching, research, student experience and operational efficiency.
You will be an experienced PMO or delivery leader who thrives on building structure, clarity and capability in complex environments. You are confident working with senior stakeholders, shaping strategic conversations and driving high standards across delivery.
You Bring Significant Experience In:
- Leading and motivating teams in a matrix setting
- Establishing or maturing Portfolio Office functions, ideally within an Agile environment
- Resource planning, progress tracking and portfolio reporting at scale
- Implementing consistent practices across risk, issue, benefit and dependency management
- Managing large budgets and presenting insights to senior leaders
