About the Role

We are looking for a Front of House Senior Receptionist to help lead our reception operation and deliver an exceptional experience for every customer, member, student, staff member and visitor using our facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, safe and professional front-of-house environment while maintaining high standards of customer service, administration, health and safety, and financial compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused individual with supervisory experience who thrives in a busy environment and is motivated by delivering high-quality service.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and co-ordinate the day-to-day work of the Reception team to ensure excellent service at all times
  • Provide a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for all users of Warwick Sport facilities
  • Offer advice, support and responsive handling of customer enquiries
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, health and safety, and compliance across reception areas
  • Carry out routine administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Use systems safely and appropriately, ensuring compliance with GDPR and information security requirements
  • Process financial transactions correctly in line with regulations and assist with stock control
  • Communicate operational and promotional information clearly to customers and colleagues
  • Act as a first aider across sports facilities
  • Support wider Warwick Sport activity, events and initiatives that promote sport and active lifestyles across the University community
  • Work across different Warwick Sport facilities depending on operational requirements
