Job Overview

Based within the Building Fabric team, the Building Fabric Assistant supports reactive and planned maintenance of building fabric, including statutory testing, basic repairs, and assisting the team with general duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reactive and planned maintenance support for building fabric.
  • Perform statutory testing and basic repairs.
  • Assume lower‑skilled, repetitive tasks to support the team.
  • Assist other technicians in resolving job requests, including transporting materials and equipment and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

  • Dedicated and hardworking with a passion for hands‑on work.
  • Keen eye for detail, ensuring precision and quality in every task.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines, especially when working at heights.
  • Previous experience or qualifications in construction or maintenance preferred, but willingness to learn and develop new skills is highly valued.
  • Team player with good communication skills, reliable, and committed to delivering top‑notch results on every project.
