This role is a full-time fixed-term contract for 3 years.

Base Pay Range

The pay range is provided by University of Warwick. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

About The Role

WMS invites applications from qualified and experienced academic and/or clinical staff (note this is not a clinical post) to work with a team of dynamic clinical anatomists who are internationally recognised for their modern innovative curricula and their student‑centred approach to learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver education and training in clinical anatomy and medical imaging at MBChB and postgraduate/professional level (e.g., point of care ultrasound).
  • Contribute to other teaching, learning and assessment activities within the MBChB programme, such as OSCE examinations and written assessment creation and delivery.
  • Take leadership roles at appropriate points within the programme.

About You

The role offers a unique opportunity for the post holder to enhance their existing skills via the development and delivery of education and training. There will be opportunities for the post holder to contribute to other teaching, learning and assessment activities within the MBChB programme, such as OSCE examinations and written assessment creation and delivery, and to take leadership roles at appropriate points.

About The Department

Warwick Medical School (WMS) runs the largest Graduate Entry Medical programme in the UK. The MBChB course is centred around Case Based Learning (CBL) and is composed of integrated longitudinal Themes and Blocks of system and clinical specialty-based learning, with clinical anatomy and imaging woven throughout. The new purpose‑built Clinical Education Hub houses a 500m2 clinical anatomy and imaging suite.
