About the role:
- Two Apprentice Technician roles available to start September 2026, part of a Level 4 four‑year Technical Apprenticeship Programme aimed at becoming an Engineering Manufacturing Technician.
- Full time (36.5 hrs/week) with three days on campus and two days of training at Warwickshire College.
- Must travel independently to sites and be able to start at 8 am.
Responsibilities:
- Support academics, students and research projects within the School’s Technical Services team.
- Work with an experienced technical team and develop practical skills in mechanical, electronic and other technical projects.
- Attend training sessions and complete the assessments required by the University and apprenticeship provider.
About you:
- Genuine interest in engineering and technology; some hands‑on experience.
- Curious, logical, enjoy problem‑solving.
- Proactive learner, initiative and willingness to develop new knowledge.
- Team player, customer focused, can follow instructions and deliver work independently.
- Confident asking questions and seeking feedback.
