We are looking to appoint an Allocation Officer to join the Warwick Accommodation Team within the Estates Department. This role will include working any days 5 over 7. You will take on a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure that we deliver a first-rate service to students and staff. You will be managing a high level of telephone and email queries. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Preparing online contracts
- Managing student contracts
- Responding to student complaints in line with the University complaints procedure
- Assisting in the marketing and allocation of university-managed student accommodation
- Preparing statistics and documentation
Focusing on supporting a successful operation that maximises occupancy levels across circa 7,500 university managed beds, managing the referral process of circa 1000 partnership accommodation beds and facilitating short let bookings in line with departmental needs.
As an Allocation Officer, you will be supporting the Accommodation team and the Assistant Allocation Manager. The successful candidate will need the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential. Knowledge of student accommodation and University systems are desirable. Completing a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure that the department delivers a first-class service to students and staff by providing the highest possible standards of sales and service delivery. You will need to liaise with students, parents, and various departments within the University regarding all accommodation matters and student status, either via email, telephone, in person or via other digital methods.
