Starting salary is £49,559 (per annum) pro-rata. This is a permanent position, 0.6 FTE (working days to include Wednesday and Friday).

Join the largest graduate-entry MBChB programme in the UK at Warwick Medical School (WMS), renowned for attracting graduates from both science and non-science backgrounds. Our modern medical programme is delivered by a dynamic and forward-thinking team of academics and clinicians.

About You

We are seeking a part-time Clinical Education Fellow (CEF) to support the delivery of the programme and gain skills in teaching and assessment. This exciting role includes:

  • Becoming a trained case-based learning facilitator
  • Acting as a Year personal tutor.
  • Providing clinical support to Cell and Tissue Biomedicine seminars
  • Become an OSCE examiner and learn to write assessments
  • Supporting co-production projects with students.

You will be enrolled in modules working towards the Certificate in Medical Education and supported to complete a small medical education project. You will also be encouraged to contribute to departmental education meetings.

This post is designed as a career development opportunity in Medical Education, ideal for junior clinical staff looking to progress along a clinical academic route. It suits applicants who have completed foundation training or are taking a year out from specialist training.
