The Department of Philosophy at the University of Warwick seeks to appoint a 3-year Assistant Professor (Teaching Focussed) in Moral and/or Political Philosophy to support the University’s flagship Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) Programme.
We especially welcome applications from members of groups currently underrepresented in philosophy.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The successful applicant will be an experienced and committed educator with a strong track-record of delivering high-quality teaching and fostering academic excellence.
A key requirement of the role is the ability to design and deliver engaging and effective teaching across the PPE suite of modules.
The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate their ability to undertake administrative duties within the PPE programme.
Through their research, teaching, and service, the successful candidate will contribute to the diversity and excellence of our staff-student community.
