About the Role

This role assists the Finance Office in monitoring and reporting on the School\’s portfolio of Programmes, Groups, Sections and staff plans and provides related advice and guidance within the School.
The role is responsible for maintaining management information in relation to the School\’s Finance activity and contributes to the development of financial systems and reporting within the School, whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.

About You
We are looking for an ambitious and pro-active individual, possessing the AAT qualification. You will have experience of working within a finance function and possess knowledge of accounting standards and good overall technical awareness. As an Assistant Accountant you will work closely with existing experienced finance staff and will be approachable, enthusiastic and able to explain complex technical matters to non-finance staff.
