We are delighted to be working with Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion, part of the University of Wales Trinity St David Group (UWTSD) to recruit their next Principal & Chief Executive. The successful candidate will champion the college's mission and shape its future direction, whilst upholding the delivery of education and training that is of the highest quality, inclusive and responsive to the needs of students and employers across Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation in delivering inspirational learning and an innovative and modern curriculum within a tertiary education context.
- Work in partnership with the Board and across regional and national communities to build new and existing partnerships to drive growth.
- Maintain a sharp focus on the quality agenda and prudent fiscal management.
- Inspire a dedicated team to promote a culture of continuous performance improvement.
Qualifications / Experience
- Proven leadership experience with strategic and commercial outlook, and a track record of delivering ongoing change in tertiary education and economic development.
- Ability to influence, engage and inspire; a passion for education and training and a commitment to excellence.
- Experience working with a board, regional employers and national partners; confident, dextrous leadership capable of leading from the front.
