Course Description: Practical study through in-class coaching on authentic pronunciation and interpretation. Emphasis on the art song repertoire of the seventeenth to twentieth centuries. Class Schedule: Section 1: Fridays 11am-12pm, Section 2: Fridays 12-1pm in the Fall term September to December 2025 Salary: $3,339.04 per section Estimated Course Enrollment: 10 TA support: none Qualifications: Graduate degree in music performance or equivalent professional experience; doctorate preferred. Extensive knowledge of and performance experience with vocal repertoire in English. Demonstrated knowledge of pedagogical materials suitable for the first-year university performance level. Duties: Define course objectives and materials; provide clear guidelines on course requirements and regulations; teach classes as scheduled; administer and evaluate student assignments; prepare and submit final grade in accordance with policy.
