The predicted salary is between 43300 - 48700 £ per year.

This role is for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a major change programme at UWS, managing a portfolio of projects and rapid-cycle initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Programme Management, you will work closely with executive leaders and project teams to deliver effective solutions aligned with University strategy. With a focus on new systems development and implementation, you will apply methodologies such as MSP and PRINCE2, embed benefits realisation, and drive a culture of change management. Experience in strategic IT projects and strong leadership skills are essential.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience (Information Technology, systems or computing educational background)
  • Qualification in Programme Management (Practitioner), for example AXELOS Certification
  • Experience of large scale strategic IT programmes of change
  • Leading the change management process
  • Benefits realisation, and processes for capturing, recording and reporting
  • Financial monitoring
  • Management of administrative staff
  • Influencing, developing and delivering strategic objectives
  • Influencing change and the setting of service standards
