School of Business and Creative Industries, Paisley Campus (with hybrid working available and travel to other UWS campuses as required)
Grade 4: ÂŁ28,031 - ÂŁ33,002 per annum
Full time: 35 Hours per week
Fixed term: 6 months

THE POST – Division Co-ordinator
An exciting Secondment opportunity has arisen within the School of Business & Creative Industries. We are seeking applications from individuals to join the Professional Services Team within the School. You will join a dedicated team who strive to provide essential support to staff and students.
The role will be pivotal in supporting the Division of Marketing, Innovation, Tourism and Events (MITE) with School Assessment Boards (SABs), Division Boards, module amendments, set up for enrolment using CAPP and blocks and all administration for the Division. This involves liaison with a range of academic staff in support of the Division as well as other staff across the University. Liaison with external examiners will also be required.
The postholder will be expected to work independently with minimal referral to line management. The post will have delegated authority to plan, organise and progress the workload of the Division over the academic year, ensuring that the relevant School and University deadlines are complied with.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- Educated to HND level or have relevant and practical work experience
- Extensive administration experience, preferably in a Higher Education environment
- The development, implementation and review of operational procedures
- Committee management and report writing
- Experience of working with staff at a variety of levels across a large organisation
