Post β Lecturer Sport Coaching and Development
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Sport Coaching and Development academic who will deliver across our undergraduate portfolio including; BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching, BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, BSc (Hons) Sport Development and MSc Sport and Exercise. You will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community β and, through modern teaching and impactful research, continue to deliver innovative solutions to some of the worldβs biggest challenges. This post will provide opportunities for both personal contribution and development in the areas of teaching, research, and external engagement
The successful candidate should have the following:
- PhD or Doctorate in a related discipline (or near to completion)
- Higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellowship of Advance HE
- Membership and/or accreditation from an appropriate professional organisation (CIMSPA, ACSM, BASES, UKSCA, etc)
- Extensive experience related to sport development
- Previous experience of designing, delivering, assessing, and evaluating higher education modules in sport development
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals experience of research supervision at undergraduate level
