Overview
You will be responsible for creating, updating and reviewing web content and user experience journeys to ensure content is well structured, accurate and easy to find. Your content will have a consistent look and feel that aligns with the University’s brand identity and content strategy, following user centred design as a service principle.
Working collaboratively, with an agile mindset, you will use your skills and expertise in content design to create a consistent and coherent experience that brings together insights, data, and research to continually deliver business and user needs.
You will design and create web content that is user-focused, well-structured, and aligned with the University’s brand identity. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience for current and prospective students by contributing to and using style guides, brand identity, and information architectures. Your deep understanding of users and their needs, informed by research and testing, will enable you to craft content that is clear, accessible, and effective.
You will be joining a dynamic cross-functional team, working closely with web developers, UX designers, marketing managers and subject matter experts to curate content. You will draw on your experience in marketing campaigns to analyse user behaviour, measure performance, and provide valuable insights to improve campaign effectiveness. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will identify, analyse, and recommend evidence-based solutions that meet user needs.
Your role will also involve sharing your knowledge of best practices, promoting user-centred design, and agile principles and adhering to the University’s policies on equal opportunities and health and safety.

This is a full time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.
UWE Bristol is a campus-based University and it is vital to our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus based for 2 days per week, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
