About the vacancy

The LUNZ Hub is led at UWE Bristol by Prof Angelina Sanderson Bellamy. The Project Manager will work closely with and be managed by Prof Angelina Sanderson Bellamy, who is the EDI and Social Justice Lead on the LUNZ Hub. The Hub is co-led by Prof Lee-Ann Sutherland at The James Hutton Institute and Prof Heiko Baltzer at the University of Leicester. The project started on November 13, 2024, and will run until February 28, 2027.

Over 80 team members from academic and industry organizations, including WWF, National Trust, and various food, farming, land, and environmental organizations, form the Hub. Funded by the Devolved Administrations, UKRI, Defra, and DESNZ, the LUNZ Hub supports the Government’s net zero transition related to agriculture and land management. Additionally, five research projects funded by the same entities are part of the LUNZ program. More information is available at www.lunzhub.com.

About you

The UWE LUNZ Hub Project Manager will oversee EDI initiatives and support impact tracking across the Hub. They will ensure the delivery of a professional service through monitoring key project targets, especially related to EDI and impact. The role reports directly to Prof Angelina Sanderson Bellamy and is based at UWE, Frenchay Campus. The role involves detailed assessment and analysis of EDI across project activities, using specialist knowledge to identify solutions when targets are not met.

This is a part-time, fixed-term role until 28 February 2027, working 23 hours per week. The role is campus-based with remote working options.

Salary offers will align with the University\’s guidelines, based on skills and experience. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; UWE Bristol does not sponsor visas under the Skilled Worker route. No visa or health surcharge costs are covered.
