Social Work at UWE Bristol is part of the interdisciplinary School of Health and Social Wellbeing, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes approved by Social Work England and delivered across the South‑West. Our team is dedicated to high‑quality teaching, an excellent student experience and impactful research that connects academic understanding to contemporary social work practice.
About You
You will be an engaging and innovative educator, qualified to Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s level and registered with Social Work England. With a strong commitment to teaching, learning and student support, you will inspire and engage students in their professional development, drawing on your experience of social work practice to demonstrate a clear understanding of the contemporary challenges and opportunities within the profession. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, supportive and stimulating learning environment where both staff and students can thrive.

This is a full‑time, permanent post. UWE Bristol is a campus‑based University and it is vital to our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus based with some opportunity to work from home, according to programme needs.
