About This Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of UWE Bristol Sport facilities and activity programmes, providing both front-line customer service and essential administrative support to the wider UWE Bristol Sport Operations team. This includes supporting the setup and takedown of equipment, supervising customer use of facilities, and assisting with the coordination of bookings and memberships.

You will deliver a professional, friendly, and customer-focused service to all students, staff, and visitors, ensuring that every interaction is welcoming and contributes to a positive first impression of UWE Bristol Sport. A core aspect of the role involves upholding Health & Safety standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant operational procedures to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.

Interviews are scheduled to take place at our Frenchay Campus, in September.

Shortlisting is expected to be completed within 2 weeks of the closing date depending on application volumes. We aim to give candidates at least a week\’s notice to attend interview.

This is a part-time, permanent post working 33.5hrs hours per week.

There are two roles available, working a 3 week shift rotation –

Role 1

Week 1 – Tuesday: 14:45-23:00 – Thursday: 15:45-23:00 – Friday: 15:30-23:00 – Saturday: 08:30-21:00

Week 2 – Monday: 07:00-15:15 – Tuesday: 07:00-15:00 – Sunday: 08:30-21:00

Week 3 – Monday: 15:00-23:00 – Wednesday: 07:00-16:30 – Thursday: 07:00-16:15 – Friday: 07:00-15:45

Role 2

Week 1 – Tuesday: 14:45-23:00 – Thursday: 15:45-23:00 – Friday: 15:30-23:00 – Saturday: 08:30-21:00

Week 2 – Monday – 07:00-15:15 – Tuesday – 07:00-15:00 – Wednesday – 16:15-23:00 – Sunday – 08:30-21:00
