UWE, Bristol Law School is a leading UK provider of legal education and one of the largest full-service Law Schools in the UK.

Senior Lecturer in Law, specialising in Criminal Litigation. Working within the School of Law, this post focuses on teaching and supporting students on professional law programmes in Criminal Litigation and Sentencing, Evidence, Criminal Advocacy and related subjects. We particularly welcome applicants with substantial current or previous experience of practice as a barrister or solicitor within the Criminal Law context.

The successful applicant will undertake a module leadership role within the department and perform a visible leadership role in relation to the teaching team. In addition, a management portfolio role will be undertaken alongside teaching. This is a permanent, part-time post working on a 0.5FTE basis to allow flexibility to continue with practice commitments if necessary.
