Research and External Engagement (REE) is a new integrated service dedicated to driving forward the University’s ambitions for, research, innovation, skills and enterprise. UWE Bristol is an established provider of Higher and Degree level apprenticeships. To support the growth of apprenticeship programmes, the University has invested in a dedicated Centre for Apprenticeships within the REE service, responsible for account management of relationships with employer partners and supporting growth in this area, whilst also supporting programmes to be compliant with external agency governance and ensure employers, apprentices and stakeholders receive excellent service.

About You
As a member of the Centre for Apprenticeships within Research and External Engagement, as the Apprenticeship Progress Training Coordinator you will oversee a caseload of apprentices within their Cluster area programmes, supporting apprentices on programme within core subject areas. You will work closely with apprentices and their employer.
You will have a good understanding of apprenticeship compliance, helping to ensure that programmes are meeting funding regulation through the delivery of regular tripartite review meetings and reviewing off-the-job training activities.
You will also engage in a range of activities that enhance the apprentice experience and contribute to ongoing programme improvement.
Where is this role based?
Permanent post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
Fixed-term post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre.

We are looking for a permanent full-time post, and another full-time12 months fixed-term post working 37 hours per week.
UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, and it is vital to our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus based for at least 60 percent of your time, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
