UHI Argyll offers further and higher education in one of the most geographically fragmented areas of Scotland. We are an academic partner of UHI, operating through a partnership of twelve colleges and research institutions located throughout Argyll, the Highlands and Islands, Moray and Perthshire.
UHI Argyll is looking to recruit a new Vice Principal of Curriculum & Quality to provide strategic leadership and oversight for the college’s curriculum planning and performance. You will also oversee the college’s compliance with all quality requirements.
We are a small, rural, dispersed college and a partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), delivering both further and higher education. The successful applicant will work closely with the college board of management to implement the college’s strategic aims, and you will engage with UHI partners to develop and deliver meaningful change in the partnership’s tertiary delivery model, to improve our students’ experience and deliver stronger integration of services across the region.
You will be part of a new executive team which, with other senior managers, will ensure effective delivery of the college’s departmental functions. If you have a strong record of success in a leadership role within the college sector, then this position will be an interesting and challenging next step in your career development. Senior leadership experience working in the Scottish college sector is highly advantageous, but not essential.
