MBA Programme Lead (Associate Professor)

Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent

Remote place of work with occasional travel to our Reading and Hong Kong office

Salary up to £65,000 pa plus benefits

This is an exciting time for the University, and we need exciting new talent to support the development and delivery of our academic offering. As a Programme Lead, you will lead and co-ordinate the Master of Business Administration programme, providing high quality learning, teaching, and assessment for University of the Built Environment students.

You will play an integral role within the University, ensuring the MBA programme is up-to-date and reflective of global standards, and ensuring students are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for both academic and professional success.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Lead and co-ordinate the Master of Business Administration programme
  • Work with the programme team to design and maintain programmes to enhance teaching quality and student satisfaction, ensuring active student engagement in learning
  • Provide academic leadership, management, and support to the academic staff on the MBA programme
  • Work with the Head of School and other University teams to champion initiatives that enhance the overall student experience, with a focus on academic support, engagement, and inclusivity

Our main requirements:

  • First degree in a business administration or a built environment discipline or cognate subject
  • An MBA or Doctoral level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent, such as professional level experience, or membership of a relevant professional body
  • Previous teaching experience with the ability to produce innovative module material
  • Experience in the delivery of programmes and management of modules
