Lecturer (Quantity Surveying) Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent Remote place of work Salary range £39,000 to £47,000 pa plus benefits We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to join our Academic team and help shape the next generation of built environment professionals. You will contribute to the delivery and development of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within a specialist, online higher education environment. You will deliver engaging and effective learning, teaching and assessment activities, supporting students to achieve their full potential and succeed in their academic and professional goals. Your accountabilities and responsibilities include: Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate Quantity Surveying programmes Set, moderate and mark assessments in accordance with University regulations Foster a supportive, inclusive and student-centred learning environment Ensure compliance with University quality assurance policies, procedures and academic standards Our main requirements: Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Surveying Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE) or Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) Relevant industry experience in the role of a built environment practitioner or established research/CPD or tutoring record Digital skills confidence: We use MS Office which includes Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and several other systems/technology At University of the Built Environment we expect employees to demonstrate our values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Support.
