BA Fashion Communication at Central Saint Martin's comprises three pathways: Image and Promotion, Journalism and Histories & Theories. The Journalism pathway focuses on a diverse range of media, incorporating study of written journalism for both print and digital platforms, but also broadcast media such as documentary filmmaking and podcasting.

The post-holder will work on an hourly-paid basis on specific projects within the Journalism pathway, collaborating with the Pathway and Course Leaders, other Associate Lecturers and the wider Programme team. We are looking to recruit a journalist or documentary filmmaker, working predominantly in fashion and with experience of teaching in Higher Education.

The post-holder will be expected to undertake:

  • Preparation, teaching and assessment of projects across stage one, stage two and/or final year of the Journalism pathway of BA Fashion Communication.
  • Pastoral support, progress and attendance, maintaining records and liaising with colleagues as appropriate.

About you

This role is open to candidates who have completed their BA or MA in relevant fields and also possess relevant industry experience.
