The Opportunity As a world leader in fashion education, London College of Fashion, UAL nurtures critical, creative and technical excellence, enabling new possibilities in creative communications through a global community of teaching, research and industry partnerships. We are seeking a Student Recruitment and Marketing Officer to help us deliver engaging, effective activity that attracts new students to our community. The role spans a wide range of initiatives, from advertising campaigns and digital content to recruitment events, school and college liaison, and enquiry management. You’ll deliver campaigns across digital and print, create engaging content, and monitor results using platforms such as Google Analytics, email systems and enquirer records. You’ll play a central role in Open Days, Offer Holder Days and other recruitment events, ensuring they run smoothly and provide an excellent experience for home and international audiences. Alongside this, you’ll represent LCF at exhibitions and school visits, deliver presentations, and respond to enquiries with a timely, student-focused approach. Success in this role depends on building strong knowledge of LCF’s courses, promoting what we do with confidence, and working collaboratively with colleagues across UAL and with external partners to ensure every campaign and event supports our student recruitment goals. About You You will bring a degree or professional qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Just as important is your understanding of the issues shaping student recruitment and marketing in higher education today. Experience of working in marketing or recruitment within a university or similar organisation is essential, with a proven record of delivering events that support student recruitment. You’ll also have delivered campaigns across print, digital, social and email, and feel confident analysing data to guide future plans. This role calls for excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you’ll work with internal colleagues, external suppliers, academic leaders and prospective students alike. By combining marketing expertise with strong organisational and relationship-building skills, you will help raise LCF’s profile and ensure our recruitment activity inspires the widest possible audience.
