University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking an experienced administrator to provide dedicated support across the Qualification Development department within UAL’s Awarding Body. As a leading provider of further education pre-degree qualifications, UAL Awarding Body is growing to meet the demand for our qualifications that inspire transformative education for young people. UAL Awarding Body is an awarding organisation specialising in qualifications within the performing and creative arts.

The Qualifications Administrator is a role within the Qualifications and Assessment team, who are responsible for designing and developing products, managing the product lifecycle and assessment research. This role is a maternity cover and will contribute to the work of the team by providing proactive, full and comprehensive administrative and co‑ordination support. They will also be the first point of contact for the team and will frequently need to write minutes clearly and within a timely manner. Reporting to the Head of Qualifications and Assessment, the Qualifications Administrator will provide the team with ongoing project support, diary management and other duties as required. They will also provide direct support to the Head of Qualifications and Assessment.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will pride yourself on delivering high‑quality support to multiple stakeholders across different professional levels. You will be able to manage multiple strands of work at any one time and be able to prioritise these frequently depending on manager and business needs. You will be comfortable in delivering administrative support across different areas such as information systems, project support, research, correspondence, data management and logistical administration. Organisation skills are paramount, alongside the ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

Although not essential, the ability to use and set‑up dashboards using PowerBI and SharePoint is advantageous, as is the use of InDesign and Smartsheets.
