- Research thoroughly for trends, details and suggest new ideas suitable for the COS aesthetics.
- Update and maintain the collection overviews by creating colour colour ups, updating sketches to reflect any changes and ensuring the overviews are always up to date.
- Assist in sourcing and development of materials and trimmings.
- Produce clear and detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator and update as needed.
- Photograph and log any research or inspiration samples.
- Support in creating design boards that show the designers direction and vision.
- Support with styling sessions thoughout the season.
- Support the menswear design co-ordinator with creation of seasonal collection presentations.
- Support the wider menswear team when necessary, to build your knowledge of fabric, trim, trend and colour.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in technical drawings using Adobe Creative suite (using Illustrator and Photoshop on Desktop)
- A team player with a positive, can do attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills
- A high level of awareness of current trends.
