Based at the University of the Arts London (UAL), this role is ideal for individuals who aspire to work for a dynamic institution that supports young people in their education and the creative arts. If you are a strategic marketer with a passion for creating commercially successful campaigns, this is an exciting opportunity to shape how UAL Accommodation, Catering and Retail Services (ACR) connects with its student community and engages the next generation of artists, designers and innovators.
Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of key marketing activities, events and campaigns within ACR Services. Your work will directly enhance the student experience while meeting clear business and strategic objectives.
This is a full mix marketing and communications role, working across digital channels, print and events. You will create and oversee high-quality multichannel content, ensuring that all communications reflect UAL’s brand and resonate with both current and prospective students. You will manage the Halls Life website and ACR pages on the UAL website, maintain the departmental content calendar and oversee the email marketing platform to ensure the delivery of timely and effective communications.
In addition to this, you will support and guide Marketing and Communications Assistants, deputising for the Marketing and Communications Manager when required and taking the lead during periods of absence.
About you
We are seeking a well-qualified individual, who is educated to degree level in marketing, communications or a related discipline, with proven experience of developing and delivering successful multichannel creative content, including design, film, photography and copywriting. You will also have practical experience across the full marketing and communications mix, including PR, email marketing, events, social media, web content design. The ability to produce compelling commercial campaigns, combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills is essential.
