This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to make a meaningful contribution to our Counselling, Health Advice, and Chaplaincy team, supporting the vital delivery of services to students. The team provides an integrated service to ensure students receive the right support and are guided to other services as needed. Your role will be central to this work, offering high-quality administrative support that enables students to access the care they need.

Working within a small, dedicated team, you will act as the first point of contact, responding to enquiries from students, staff, parents and external agencies. You will also be part of the Student Centre Helpdesk, providing information and advice on initial enquiries about student counselling and health advice issues, as well as wider student services.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining service databases, managing appointment bookings and calendars, and working closely with colleagues to develop efficient systems and processes that underpin the service and support its development.

About you

We are looking for a proactive administrator, who has proven experience providing and developing administrative support that is customer-focused, caring and inclusive. Advanced knowledge of IT applications, including Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with experience of working with databases, tailored business systems or case management software, is essential. You will also demonstrate an understanding of student support issues within Further and Higher Education.
