We’re looking for a Creative Content Storyteller to bring Cybersweetie to life through content.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who doesn’t just know how to make good content, but understands why a piece of content works for a brand and its audience, and knows how to turn an idea into something that actually gets made.

You’ll be responsible for developing original creative concepts, shaping the stories behind them and taking ideas from concept → planning → filming → editing → publishing across Instagram, TikTok and other relevant channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing original creative content concepts across Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms
  • Turning product launches, campaigns and everyday brand moments into engaging stories
  • Developing scripts, hooks, storylines and creative concepts for short-form video
  • Taking ownership of ideas from concept through to execution, including planning, filming, directing, editing and publishing
  • Being hands-on with content creation and sourcing the people, props, locations, references or other elements needed to bring an idea to life
  • Identifying cultural moments, trends and references that can be naturally translated into the Cybersweetie world
  • Drawing inspiration from fashion, film, 90s and 2000s pop culture and nostalgia, while translating these references into content that feels current
  • Creating content around our dresses that communicates the story, feeling, desire and world behind the product, rather than simply showing the product itself
  • Developing content that encourages our audience to discover, watch, engage, save, share and ultimately shop
  • Helping to build a recognisable Cybersweetie visual and storytelling language across our social channels
  • Contributing to content planning and the wider social calendar
  • Analysing content performance and using those insights to develop stronger future ideas
  • Working closely with the wider creative and marketing team to ensure content feels cohesive with the brand

Skills and Experience Required

We’re looking for someone who is creatively minded, culturally curious and highly proactive, with a strong visual point of view and a natural instinct for storytelling.

You naturally notice things – a scene in a film, an old campaign, a styling detail, a TikTok format, a moment from 2000s pop culture – and start thinking about how that reference could become something new.

You should:

  • Have a strong instinct for what makes content engaging and why it resonates with a particular audience
  • Have a strong understanding of fashion, occasionwear and visual culture
  • Have genuine knowledge of 90s and 2000s fashion, film, pop culture and nostalgia
  • Understand the occasionwear customer and what makes her want to discover, save, share and buy
  • Have strong visual taste and an eye for styling, composition and creative direction
  • Have strong storytelling and copywriting skills
  • Be confident developing original concepts independently rather than always working from a predefined brief
  • Be able to take an idea and actually make it happen
  • Be comfortable filming, directing and editing content for Instagram and TikTok
  • Understand how to make fashion content feel desirable rather than overly commercial
  • Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple creative ideas and projects at once
  • Be commercially aware and understand that great creative content should ultimately support the growth of the brand
  • Understand how to balance compelling storytelling with commercial objectives, creating content that builds the brand while driving desire for the product

You don’t need to wait for a brief to be creative. We want someone who can come to us with an idea, work out what needs to happen to make it possible, and get it moving.

Experience creating content within fashion, beauty or lifestyle is preferred. However, creative instinct, taste and strong self-directed work matter to us just as much as traditional industry experience.

We are an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their race, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion and belief, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity and caring responsibility. We are committed to offering a working environment where everyone is valued and feels appreciated.
