The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 € per hour.

Salary: £15.65 per hour

Hours: 150 Hours, from 1 September to 1 November 2026. Flexible hours, 2 days/week.

Internship Location: Hybrid. The onsite location is in Soho, London, W1F

Responsibilities:

  • Technical sketching in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Sourcing fabric, component, and existing garment references both in-person and online.
  • Creating fabric, construction, and measurement specifications based on client handovers, existing references and research.
  • Discussing in-progress projects with clients.
  • Updating existing technical documentation.
  • Assisting the founder across business functions.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to develop their skills and knowledge in the design and development of product for varied clients. The right candidate will be interested in developing their ability to:

  • Create technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Understand and build clear technical specifications and tech packs.
  • Work confidently across varied product categories.
  • Understand textiles and garment construction in a detailed, technical manner.

What will the internship offer the student and what will they learn while they are with you?

Techpackit provides production-ready technical documentation, across product categories, to fashion entrepreneurs and brands across the globe. Working hands-on across the functions of Techpackit will give the right person an opportunity to build skills, knowledge, and confidence in technical fashion design and product development across a really varied range of products and brands. You will learn more about how product plans and technical documentation is built for sampling and manufacturing, how textiles are selected and sourced in industry, and how brands build and communicate on new product developments.
