The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

You will be working across a range of the UK’s best beauty brands, generating best in class press coverage for clients and taking part in a variety of industry leading events. You will be a proactive and integral part of the beauty communications team and involved in the management of a busy press office.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and leading on select events and projects
  • Monitoring and tracking press, VIP and influencer coverage across online, social and in print
  • Following trends and writing trend reports
  • Creation of the monthly Blanket Newsletter
  • Researching ideas for creative mailers, events and launches
  • Supporting with the growth of influencer and industry network and databases
  • Attending weekly team meetings
  • Supporting on client presentations
  • Attending targeted Press meetings
  • Responding to press and influencer requests and enquiries
  • Managing master media list across press, influencer & key industry names
  • Competitor analysis
  • Client diary management and weekly agenda & minutes

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Beauty Industry or a transferable sector with an evident passion for the Beauty industry
  • An ability to form Beauty Press contacts and develop relationships
  • Wide knowledge of beauty creators, influencers and trends across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Experience in PR, marketing, communication or related field
  • Excellent use of written English, including ability to write and edit press releases and media alerts
  • Skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs
  • Social media savvy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and maintain strong external relationships
  • Well-organised and efficient with good time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to summarise and communicate key information clearly
  • Contributes positively to team dynamics and works together to achieve success
