Overview
University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking to appoint a Campus Manager to lead the facilities management operations across the Camberwell, Lime Grove and Wimbledon campuses. The Campus Manager will be the key operational lead on site, ensuring the effective delivery of facilities services and overseeing both directly employed facilities staff and contracted service providers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of facilities management, including cleaning, maintenance, security and building services.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure services meet campus needs, drive improvements, ensure compliance, and develop best-practice policies.
- Support campus projects, contribute to business continuity planning, and lead the facilities management (FM) response to on-site incidents.
- Ensure high-quality, customer-focused delivery that meets health and safety requirements and supports UAL\βs strategic goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Exceptional knowledge with a strong track record in delivering and leading best-in-class facilities management services, particularly in dynamic, high-footfall and multisite environments.
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and bring a customer-centric, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Deep understanding of health and safety, building compliance, budget management, and project delivery.
