Are you passionate about languages and love bringing people together? We're on the lookout for two enthusiastic individuals to work together to help drive the success of our ever popular Language Café!

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll take the lead in promoting and delivering Language Café events deciding the themes and activities for the term ahead. You'll have the chance to flex your organisational skills, help create a lively environment for language learning and supervise a fantastic group of volunteers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title:Language Cafe Supervisor

Responsible to:Events and Liberation Manager

Responsible for:Language Cafe Volunteers (30-50, shared with the other supervisor)

Rate of pay: DM rate, (£16.19 per hour, made up of £14.45 basic wage+ £1.74 holiday pay)

Hours of work:6.5 hours a week, for 20 weeks spread across the academic year ,including the evening for Language Cafe events during term time, and occasional other evening/weekend work, not including some weeks in Winter break or Easter Break

Contract:1 year Fixed term, ending 3th May 2027.
