This role will provide high-level support and expert advice for the successful delivery of strategic global partnerships and university networks in education and research. It is a busy and varied role, key in facilitating partnerships across multiple dimensions of international engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level support and expert advice for the successful delivery of strategic global partnerships and university networks in education and research.
  • Provide qualitative insights and data analysis to interpret and evaluate opportunities.
  • Coordinate high-level visits and delegations.
  • Develop agreements, monitor outputs and impact, and showcase activities on the website and in marketing and communication channels and collateral.
  • Report to the International Partnerships Manager and collaborate with key internal stakeholders such as Associate Deans (International) and academics across the three Faculties.
  • Maintain professional relationships with external partners, including universities, funding bodies, and policy organisations in higher education.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly organised relationship builder, who has demonstrated the ability to build networks and leverage connections. The ideal candidate is proactive, willing to take initiative to engage with institutional and stakeholder priorities, creative and innovative, and able to suggest improvements to working processes, alongside strong business acumen and creative problem solving skills. A background in higher education or a good knowledge of sector trends and international higher education policy developments is required. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
