The International Student Recruitment team at the University of Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join as the International Officer for the Middle East and Africa. This role focuses on increasing applications and enrolments from international students in this dynamic region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with international schools.
- Managing a network of recruitment agents.
- Attending recruitment events.
- Organising on-campus activities.
- Delivering presentations, managing complex projects, and organising events.
- International travel – must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel up to 12 weeks per year.
Due to the flexibility required in the role, it is expected that candidates do not have other work or academic commitments.
About you
We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in international student recruitment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing overseas recruitment and a comprehensive understanding of the international recruitment sector, both from a commercial and cultural perspective. They will have strong proficiency in IT skills.
