The role Join Surrey University Library in this new and pivotal role as the Digital Scholarship Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a new area supporting researchers at Surrey.

The post will manage and contribute to the development of innovative Library services, working in partnership with researchers, educators and students, exploring new approaches and technologies (including text mining, coding, VR and data visualisation) across all subjects.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the University's Education and Research strategies while helping deliver sector-leading Library services that enable innovation, collaboration and inclusive academic practice.

About you We are looking for an outstanding candidate to help us shaping, set and maintain Surrey Digital Scholarship offer as part of our Open Research and Innovation team.

You will bring a deep understanding of digital innovation across Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAMs), alongside strong project management skills, a track record of impactful implementation in digital scholarship, and experience in relationship building.

Key skills include managing digital scholarship services, developing digital skills training, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.

As a keen innovator and collaborator, you will help supporting the operational delivery of the service, working across functions with colleagues from other professional services departments to form a new offer for digital scholarship and open research across the University.
