The Institute for Communication Systems (ICS), home of 5GIC & 6GIC, seeks a Research Fellow to work on physical layer techniques for future wireless communications. The successful candidate should have research experience in wireless communication systems design, with expertise in air interface algorithm design or software/hardware development. ICS is Europe's largest academic research institute in ICT, with over 200 researchers and state-of-the-art facilities. 5GIC, established in 2012, is the world's first dedicated 5G research centre, and 6GIC was launched in 2020 to research 5G+ and 6G technologies for 2030+.

About you

You should have a good honours degree in wireless communications or electronic engineering, with proven research experience. Publications, problem-solving skills, proactivity, and collaboration are valued. The role involves specifying, designing, and implementing research systems. You will join a vibrant research team supported by academic staff.
