The role We are seeking an outward looking collaborative individual to join our team of mathematicians in the School of Mathematics & Physics.
Our team is committed to pursuing excellence in research, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and in supervising graduate students.
About you The successful candidate will have a Ph D (or equivalent) in mathematics or a closely related discipline.
They will have shown the potential for achieving and sustaining a leading independent research programme and been active in developing and submitting competitive applications for external funding to support their research.
They will have expertise either in stochastics, statistics, or mathematical data science, or in another area of applied mathematics with proven industrial, societal or technological impact.
They will have a willingness to work collaboratively across discipline boundaries.
