This is an opportunity to play a visible role in improving how staff and students experience digital learning at Surrey, through practical, user‑centred enhancements. You will work closely with academic colleagues and central teams to identify areas for improvement in teaching, learning and assessment journeys, and design simple, scalable improvements (inc. support, training, processes, or new developments) that make a real impact.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys solving real problems, working closely with users, and delivering tangible improvements at pace.

About you

  • Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices
  • Confidence working with academic staff to influence and support change
  • Ability to identify practical solutions and deliver improvements independently
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and work collaboratively

This role is a fixed term contract up to 1 year, from 14th Sept 2026 to 10th Sept 2027.
