The role involves leading creative campaigns to showcase our cutting‑edge training programmes, engage technical communities, and amplify the ACIT Hub’s national presence. The hub is a collaboration between the Universities of Surrey, Oxford, Sheffield, Bristol and Imperial, aiming to create a go‑to training hub and raise the profile of the Research Technology Professionals (RTPs) building and maintaining accelerated compute infrastructure in the UK.

You will join the established professional services team in our highly rated research centre, with modern facilities and close links with industry. The Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) is an International Centre of Excellence for research in Audio‑Visual Machine Perception. The Surrey Institute for People Centred AI (PAI) builds on 38 years of work into foundational AI in CVSSP. The ACIT‑Hub collaborates with the Research Computing Services team based in IT services, who support research computing infrastructure across the entire university.

About you: You will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for getting the message out to new communities and engaging with a diverse range of technical professionals. You will have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience in content creation, developing promotional materials for print, digital and social media engagement, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling stories.
