Overview

North East Uni Connect Programme (NEUCP) Higher Education Ambassador at University of Sunderland. This fixed-term role supports the development and delivery of a student engagement programme of outreach activities in targeted schools/sixth forms as part of the Uni Connect Programme (Office for Students funded).

About the role

Based within the University of Sunderland, the post holder will help develop and deliver outreach activities to promote higher education opportunities. The role supports progression to further and higher education for young people from targeted wards as part of the FutureMe programme. This is a fixed-term post until 31/08/2026.

What you can bring

The successful candidate will have graduated within the last 24 months. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders. You must be able to communicate clearly, orally and in writing, to a variety of audiences. You should also have the ability to research and develop new outreach activity in support of progression to higher education.
