About The Post

The University is transforming its student records and lifecycle services through the Student360 Programme. As Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of this major institutional programme over the next three years, helping the project team stay organised, informed and focused on agreed outcomes.

Working closely with the Student360 Project Manager, S360 Project team and wider Digital & IT colleagues, you will coordinate project activity, support planning and scheduling, maintain documentation, track actions, risks and progress, and help prepare reports, briefing papers and meeting materials for programme governance.

This is a collaborative coordination role, working with academic and professional services teams, technical colleagues and external partners to support workshops, project meetings, communications and follow-up activity. You will help ensure that information flows effectively across the programme and that decisions, dependencies and next steps are clearly captured.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant change programme that will improve how systems, data and processes support the student experience, while developing your project coordination skills in a complex but supportive university environment.

About The Team

Digital & IT is a vital department within the University of Suffolk, ensuring our students and staff are supported with their digital & IT needs. Our mission is to empower students, staff, and researchers by providing scalable, supportable and sustainable technology solutions and services, and are committed to enhancing the University experience through digital innovation and excellence.

Our team of approximately 20 colleagues brings together a diverse range of skills, experience and perspectives, enabling us to support a wide variety of areas across the institution. We are more than technical infrastructure, networks and devices; we play a key role in helping the University evolve and grow by providing strategic guidance, practical expertise and digital innovation across all aspects of the digital landscape.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident in bringing structure to a busy project environment. You will enjoy coordinating activity, keeping accurate records, following up actions and helping project teams maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.

You will have experience of providing administrative, coordination or project support in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance competing priorities and communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues. Experience of working in a project, IT, digital or higher education environment would be helpful, but your ability to organise, liaise, document and follow through will be most important.

You will be comfortable preparing meeting notes, maintaining action logs, supporting project documentation and helping to coordinate workshops, briefings and communications. You will be able to work methodically, use your initiative, and handle information with care, tact and professionalism.

Most importantly, you will bring a calm, collaborative and service-focused approach, supporting colleagues through change and helping the Student360 programme operate effectively as it progresses through planning, delivery and implementation.
