About The Post
The University of Suffolk is looking for an organised and proactive Data Governance and Legal Services Administrator to join our Data Governance and Legal Services team within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
This varied role will provide administrative support across information governance, legal services, and committee administration. You will help administer and track Freedom of Information requests, Subject Access Requests, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and data breach records, while maintaining accurate registers and supporting compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other relevant legislation.
You will also support committees and meetings, help maintain guidance, procedures, and templates, respond to routine enquiries, and contribute to projects that improve and automate team processes.
About You
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, good communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems. You will be comfortable handling confidential information, managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with colleagues across the University.
