We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and customer-focused Sport Attendant to join the team at Strathclyde Sport .
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in delivering a high-quality experience for all users.
As a Sport Attendant, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, excellent customer service, and the ability to work effectively on your own initiative.
Your key responsibilities include lifeguard supervision of the swimming pool, set up and down of sports and class equipment, work on reception using Gladstone Leisure Management System to handle enquiries, bookings and memberships and to maintain a safe, secure and clean environment for all facility users.
Candidates who do not hold a valid and current RLSS or STA Pool Lifeguard Qualification will require to obtain the qualification as a requirement for the post on commencement of employment.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team, contributing to the delivery of outstanding sport and fitness experiences at the University of Strathclyde.
The hours will be based on a rota, which will include working evenings and weekends and will be line managed by a Duty Manager.
